PRIVACY POLICY

CHAOS: The Party Game ("CHAOS", "we", "us") is published by Ashwinsuriya Ravi, based in Tamil Nadu, India. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. CHAOS has no user accounts and does not require you to sign in.

What we handle, and why

• Names you type. Display names you enter for a party (yours and other players') are used only to run that game session — to show who's who. They're transient and not linked to any real-world identity.
• A device identifier. A random identifier stored on your device is used to enforce the free hosting limit and to remember your Pro purchase. It is not your Apple ID and does not personally identify you.
• Game inputs you submit. Names, scenario details, and other text you enter are sent to our servers and to our AI provider to generate game content for your session.
• Reports. If you report content, we store the reported content and basic context so we can review and act on it. Report data is retained for about 90 days.
• Purchases. In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation that you own Pro — never your card or payment details.

What we do NOT do

• No accounts, logins, or email required to play.
• No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not collect your location, contacts, or photos.

Service providers

• Anthropic — generates game content from the inputs described above.
• Apple — processes in-app purchases.
• Cloudflare — hosts our servers and temporarily stores game-session and report data.

Retention

Game-session data is transient and cleared after a session ends. Report data is kept ~90 days. The device identifier lives on your device until you delete the app.

Children

CHAOS contains mature content, is intended for adults, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required for the app.

Your choices

You can stop using and delete the app at any time, which clears local data. To request deletion of report-related data, contact us at support@fraktus.ai. We honor applicable data-protection rights, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
